in Rome.
Member of AIAPP (Italian Society of Landscape
Architects) and ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects).
Educational background includes: Master
of Landscape Architecture (MLA), University of Pennsylvania,
Graduate School of Design; Master
in Architectural Design with Sustainable, Participatory and Multimedia
Tools,
University of Rome-Tre, Faculty of Architecture; Bachelor of
Arts in Foreign Studies, specialized in History and Anthropology
of Asia in relation to landscapes, Sophia University,
Tokyo; and Ecovillage Design Course, Torri Superiore,
Liguria, Italy.
Worked for Landscape Design Co. in Tokyo and
FAO in Rome. Over 10 years collaborate with Swiss landscape architect
Paolo Bürgi for various projects. Currently, exploring
new horizon of Japanese gardens under the guidance of Japanese
master gardener and garden designer Kazuo Makioka.
Besides design of landscapes and gardens, practice
Japanese tea ceremony, play classical guitar, exercise Taiji quan
("Yang family secret style"),
practice Japanese calligraphy,
write
poems and cook.
