Villa M garden design

A garden/coutyard for a family. There are 3 key concepts: 1) create a garden simple but interesting to observe from above; 2) create two distinctive spaces: one at the entrance gate as a passage through a mediterranean garden; the other a multi-functional space inside; 3) create a white/silvery/blue elegant, ordered garden.

To realize the above key ideas: interventions will be made in: a) enlarging the pavement at the entrance gate for better accommodation and surrounding the space with mediterranean plants; b) introducing architectural elements to give a clear structure to the garden: a 5m tree (Cork oak), a long stone bench, stepping stones and a fountain.

The bench serves as a cocktail bar and a backstage to the adjacent, existing terrace. The fountain is a simple block in white stone. A canal of the fountain is oriented in the direction of significance for the historical figure who owned the house years back --- so as to give him a due homage.
